This ancient tomb chamber is the remains of the Tatarli tumulus was built in the 5th century BC near the Persian royal city of Kelainai(Afyonkarahisar).
The colourful panels of this tomb chamber contain are the only remaining examples of antique wooden painting art.
The chamber was looted in 1969 and shipped abroad. The missing parts were rediscovered in Munich and an extensive restoration process took place was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Federal Republic of Germany.
